When to Seek Emergency Dentistry
Some dental concerns can wait a day or two, but others require immediate attention. You may need emergency dentistry if you are experiencing:
- Severe toothache or persistent pain
- A knocked-out, loose, or dislodged tooth
- Mouth or jaw injury
- Symptoms of an abscess, including fever or swelling
- Bleeding or tender gums that don’t stop
- A broken, chipped, or fractured tooth
- Lost or loose dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, or fillings
Not all dental issues require urgent treatment — for example, a chipped veneer or minor gum irritation might not be a true emergency — but if you’re uncertain, it’s always best to call our office. Our dentists can help you decide whether you need same-day care or if it’s safe to schedule a future appointment.

Dee's Success Story
So this all began with a surprise, which wasn’t too good.
October 28th and I was eating at a lunch on across the street,
actually, and I thought I felt some strange sensation and my number seven tooth had broken off, I think. So I found a piece on my plate, went in the bathroom to look and see what the result was, and sure enough a tooth had broken.
So of course I panicked because we were leaving at four o’clock the next morning for a trip cross country to attend a wedding. So that’s when I searched out Lifetime Smiles
Came over here and you were able to take an appointment later that afternoon and that’s when the tooth was patched and it lasted that whole trip.
We were gone for about a month and came back and sat down and did an assessment of my situation, which was really quite extensive.
Years of dental work had to be done.
That took me back. We made it work out so that we could have the work done.
And I have been so impressed, first of all, that you would take me in an emergency situation and treat my teeth with such care and it’s a very positive experience.
You all have been the one who communicated with our insurance company, which is huge deal. We didn’t have to get in the middle of that at all.
We appreciate that.
But from start to finish, it’s a pleasant experience. Dr. Reangber is the most steady dentist I have ever been to.
She’s just steady. There’s no slip, there’s no excuse, there’s no apology.
It’s just making me aware of the next step that’s going to be done, what my sensations may be.
I would highly recommend and I will highly recommend coming here.
I have a beautiful smile, which covered up, which has taken place of just years of lots of wear on my teeth.
I’m excited, I’m proud. I’m proud of my smile and I would strongly recommend coming here to anyone and I will to my children and my friends to come here.
And I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
It’s been an unexpected pleasure and I don’t mind coming back.
Thank you.
